2010 Update
Sunday, July 4th, 2010It’s time for my annual refresh of the design of this website.
I say “annual”, but in reality, I tweak constantly. What you see today will be different tomorrow, so feel free to check back.

Hint
Sunday, May 3rd, 2009Something Like This?
Sunday, May 3rd, 2009I started last weekend working on a logo/t-shirt for this year’s family reunion in late June.
This is what I’ve got so far. The image is based on two things: The group photo of our family at last year’s reunion and the London Underground logotype. No significance to the latter except that I like the simple design.
If you’re a family member reading this, see if you can pick yourself out of the lineup!

Sunday, March 8th, 2009Flat Sally Down Under
Friday, March 6th, 2009Flat Sally decided a little side trip to Australia was in order. She spent some time cruising the Sydney Harbor and a nice afternoon at the Luna Park amusement park.
The weather was a welcome change from the late winter weather of Utah.
Flat Sally in Rome II
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009Flat Sally — When in Rome…
Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009Finally! Out of those cold temperatures and into something a little warmer. Those warm breezes wafting across the Mediterranean sure keep things nice — even in late winter.
Flat Sally almost put on a gladiator suit, but was afraid that tourists would want to pose with her all day and she wouldn’t be able to see any more than the Coliseum.
Flat Sally Heads South
Monday, March 2nd, 2009Still a little too cold for her, Flat Sally heads to Spain and points south in Europe this week.
Here she is behind the cathedral in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. This building was started in 1230 and not finished largely until about 1601 — though ongoing building and renovation have continued since then.
